Cloud Manager's Instances tab is your control hub for all VMs already allocated in your cloud resource groups.
The following section provides an overview of Cloud Manager's interface, focusing on the main tools and functionalities needed to manage preexisting VMs.
Once successfully connected, the VMs should be displayed in the Instances tab like so.
🟢
On
An active instance is indicated by a green status, signifying that the instance is currently operational and fully functional.
🔴
Off
A red status denotes that the instance is turned off, indicating it is not in operation at the moment.
ðŸŸ
Starting
When an instance is in the process of booting up, it displays an orange status, signaling that it is transitioning to an active state.
🚫
Disabled
An instance with a 'prohibited' symbol next to it, shows that the VM is currently inactive and not available for use.
Start
Initiates the VM resuming from a paused state or beginning the boot process if powered off.
Stop
Halts the VM powering it off completely. If hibernation is enabled, the VM's state is preserved, allowing it to resume from its previous state upon restart.
Enable
Enables access to a VM making it available for use.
Disable
Disables access to a VM. This prevents it from being started or used.
View Log
Displays a log with the Status change events of a VM.
Manage Users
Add, delete, or modify the users that can access each VM.
To apply changes to many VMs at the same time, select the ones you wish to modify using the left column checkboxes, then click the three vertical dots on the top right of the tab. This will display a menu with the actions you can take regarding the selected VMs which will be applied all at once.
To grant a user access to a VM, you must create an access profile. For a comprehensive guide on creating and managing access profiles, see .
