Deleting VDI/DaaS Models

Before a VDI/DaaS model can be deleted from Cloud Manager, all instances and resources associated with it must be removed. The following procedure outlines the necessary steps to complete this process.

1

Go to the Deployments Tab

From the Cloud Manager main panel, navigate to the Deployments tab. This section lists all deployed instances created from the available models.

2

Remove Instances Associated with the Model

Locate all entries related to the model you want to delete. For each entry, click the Destroy button. This will trigger the instance removal process and detach it from the model.

3

Delete the Instance Records

Once all associated instances have been destroyed, the Delete button will become available. Click Delete for each destroyed instance. This action removes the instance records from the system.

4

Remove the Shared Record

Identify the entry corresponding to the Shared template created by the model. Repeat the Destroy and Delete process for this record.

5

Delete the Model

After all associated instances and Shared Template records have been removed, the model will appear as empty.

Navigate to the Edit menu of the model by clicking the pencil icon. In the edition dialogue that pops up, click Remove to permanently delete the model from the list.
